I graduated from Veterinary School in 1998 and then worked in a practice in Auckland. My husband and I decided we would like to work overseas, so we both found work in England and stayed there for the next 4 years.

Molly has recently joined us after graduating from Massey in 2021. She is a Waiheke local and her family are well known on the island. She enjoys a range of vet work but has a special passion for Equine vetting.

Alice is our new Grad Vet imported from England. She brings and interesting mix and background to the team. Although she studied in England she came to it via Germany and Zambia. She loves Running in her spare time.

Hi I am Maddie and I have been a veterinary nurse for several years. Family has brought me back to Waiheke Island after my 2 year Australian adventure. In my free time I love hiking and spending time with family and friends. I love the challenges the job brings and I am pretty good keeping a cool head in stressful situations.

Hi I am Lena from Germany and I have joined the team over 12 months ago. I travelled through New Zealand, then fell in Love with Waiheke and stayed. I found a new career path through my love of animals. I started helping out at reception and now doing a training in animal care.

Hi I’m Lisa, Waiheke born and bred. I’ve worked for Vets on Waiheke since I graduated in 2013. I’m a typical vet nurse and live at work but on the off chance I’m not there I can be found with my menagerie of cats and pets or with my horses Levi and Ford.

Paulina comes to us from Chile! Paulina is a qualified vet since 2011 and is working toward her registration here in NZ. She has a special interest in cats, and small animals in general, and is a member of the International Society of Feline Medicine.

Tory has just joined the team and is training to become a nurse. She has a passion for horses and has been heavily involved with horses and horse trekking on Waiheke.

Naomi has joined the team in 2023 and is our main receptionist. She has root on another pacific island too -Fiji..

Another local Waihekeian born and bred. Sophie is our receptionist on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays and a full time mum the rest of the time. She loves horses and is involved in horse tours at Waiheke Equestrian

Lena is training as a nurse (in-house) and receptionist. She comes from over the ditch (Germany) and adds some German efficiency to the front of house. She fell in love with Waiheke while travelling here and never left
